FAQ
Who can take part?
Our activities are for adults experiencing poor mental health or social isolation. You can refer yourself or be referred by a health, social care or community organisation.
How much do activities cost?
All Nemo Arts activities are free to attend. Materials and equipment are also provided unless we tell you otherwise.
Do I need any previous experience?
Not at all. Our activities are suitable for complete beginners as well as people with previous experience. Our tutors will help you take part at a pace that feels comfortable.
Where do activities take place?
Most activities take place at the Nemo Arts studio: 128-130 Bridgegate, Glasgow G1 5HZ. We also run activities in community venues across Glasgow, so please check the booking information for the correct location.
How do the activities work?
We run three terms each year. Most activities include 14 weekly sessions followed by a showcase or celebration where participants can share what they have created. Taking part in the showcase is always encouraged but never compulsory.
How many activities can I attend?
You can choose up to three Nemo Arts activities each week. Choir does not count towards this limit, so you can attend up to three other activities as well as Choir. Places are subject to availability, and you will need to register again before each new term.
How do I register?
