Drama classes at Nemo Arts offer a fun and creative way to build confidence, express yourself and connect with others. Through games, improvisation, movement and performance, you’ll explore characters, stories and ideas in a relaxed and supportive environment. No previous acting experience is needed, and everyone is encouraged to take part at a pace that feels comfortable.
Hannah Westwater - Drama Tutor
Hi, I’m Hannah and I’ll be your tutor in the Drama group. My aim is to create a welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable being creative, trying new things and enjoying themselves. Drama is about having fun just as much as it is about performing.
What you’ll explore
Each term includes 14 weekly sessions followed by an end-of-term showcase. During the term, you’ll explore acting techniques, improvisation, voice work, movement and storytelling while working with the group to create a performance. Taking part in the showcase is encouraged but never compulsory.
Join the Drama Group
You can join by registering online or through one of our referral partners. Participants may attend up to three Nemo Arts sessions each week during a term. Registration opens before every new term, giving everyone an opportunity to choose the activities that interest them.

Drama helps people develop confidence both on and off the stage. As your skills grow you’ll have opportunities to perform in front of audiences and discover talents you may never have realised you had.
